East of the Sun and West of the Moon

A white bear marries a poor peasant’s daughter, in return for wealth. One night, the girl learns that the bear is actually a handsome prince. He must now go to the castle east of the sun and west of the moon and marry his stepmother’s troll princess.

The prince has a plan. At the castle, he announces, “The one who can wash the tallow from my shirt, I’ll marry her.” The girl succeeds at this task defeating the troll princess. The prince and his bride then escape the castle the east of the sun and west of the moon.
